I was inspired by flowers and water when I started this piece. It has a lot of transparent layers with a lot of detail. When I showed process pictures on Instagram (@marjoleinverstappen_art) some friends told me they thought of Water lilies floating on water. Even of Monet's Water Lily Pond, that's why I choose this name.

The painting is wired at the back and ready to hang. If you like, you could bring the painting to a local framer to frame it in a box frame.
